April is right around the corner, so that means it’s time to do some planning!
I am so excited that it’s officially springtime now, even though to be honest, it doesn’t totally feel like spring yet here in southern Ohio. We’ve had such wacky weather lately. It’s winter one day, summer the next, haha! I am hopeful that the snow is at least behind us, but we will see.
Outdoor projects will be starting soon, but I don’t think I’m going to try to fit any of those in for April. I’ll probably save them for May! So I really need to finish up some indoor projects that have dragged on for way too long. Things have felt a little haywire lately!
Anyhoo, let’s dive into some of my plans for April and we’ll chat about a few things after I share my Erin Condren monthly dashboard with you!
April Dashboard
I kept this coming month’s dashboard pretty simple. I wanted to jot down some of the blog tasks and habits I want to stick with, as well as some of the post ideas you all have commented you’d like to see soon! I have seen an uptick in blog traffic, but it’s still a little way from where I want to see it – so I will keep working on this one!
I also am still on my decluttering mission here in the house and while I specifically wrote out my closet here, I also have some other spots I need to hit as well.
Hustle Culture Series
I am so grateful for each and every one of you who’ve commented over on my post so far! I appreciate you all so very much. If you haven’t read the post yet, you can read it right here!
I plan to get out a new post in the series every week in April. There are just so many topics within hustle culture vs slowing down that I think it will be interesting to explore it together! Plus, I plan to make each post where they can actually be seen as standalone posts too (even though I will definitely mention they are part of the series and link to the other parts in each post!).
Weekly Emails
Okay, so I mentioned bi-monthly emails in my last planning post in February, somehow I totally skipped March, haha! I changed my mind though and decided to do them every Friday like I used to. It hasn’t worked well in the past for me, but also, I think I’ve really simplified the format this time around. It’s short and sweet, but a fun email to catch up on all the things!
If you haven’t signed up for my email list, I’d love to have you! You can sign up in the box below and you’ll receive an email each time there’s a new post out, as well as the Friday emails. Those emails will contain a little note from me, that particular week’s posts, a heads up on new posts coming up, and the most loved social post of that week.
That’s a wrap on my plans for April post, dear friends! Thanks to each of you for hanging out with me here today and I hope that you have a wonderful upcoming weekend! I’d love to hear what some of your plans are for April!

So useful to have an idea of what you want to accomplish each month. I like that!

Aww, thanks so much Kathrine, I appreciate you so much! I’m always cheering you on too!! 🙂
I like seeing how you have laid out the goals in your planner – you have beautiful writing! And it’s nice that you are planning to get so much done this month. Good luck with it all! 🙂
Oh, thank you so much Mica, that’s very kind of you! 🙂 I am really hoping I can get through everything on my list this month, I’m working away at it. Hope your month is off to a great start, my friend!
Your dashboard is so much prettier than mine is! Oh, I think you will love Metricool! I still have one more close to clean out in our house. I usually do outside projects in May after Mother’s Day. That is when it starts to get nice enough here to think about plants and it stays fairly warm consistently.

Haha, I don’t know about all of that! Thank you tons, I know you recommended it to me awhile back so I’m finally giving it a go! 🙂 I agree, the weather gets much better around that time, or it usually does. Our weather has been so wacky already this year!
I’ve been decluttering our home as much as possible too! It’s so nice to have things organized even if it only lasts a little while!
That’s wonderful Laura, and I agree, it’s a great feeling once you know you’ve went through so much and have things organized. Haha, sometimes it doesn’t last as long as we would like, that’s for sure!
Good luck with all of them this month!

Aww, thank you Jennifer! I appreciate it so much!
Great post! Your plans for April are inspiring, and I appreciate your commitment to self-care and personal growth. Your list of activities strikes a perfect balance between self-improvement and leisure time. Thank you for sharing and motivating others to prioritize their well-being.
Thank you tons Candice, you are the sweetest! I truly try my best to do that! 🙂
I noticed I’m not really reaching for my planner daily lately – but setting up a monthly dashboard is a great idea! It would really set you up for a productive and focused month. I’m inclined to try it out! Thanks for sharing!
I hope you love it if you try it!! I love the way EC does this in their LifePlanners, it really is nice to have a one-stop shop for goals for that month. You can most certainly create your own though and it’s just fun to look at too when it’s decorated, haha!
Awesome ❤️
Your creativity is inspiring !
Nice article, thanks for sharing this!

So fun seeing your planner dashboard. I haven’t been using my planner for the past few weeks and need to focus on writing things down and being more organized. I’m in declutter mode here too!

Definitely Melody, thanks so much for reading! 🙂
Decluttering gives me sweet joy. I’ve been thinking about doing a post on Hustle culture! Going back to read your post asap. It’s hurting us all. Love ya friend!
Ahh, I would absolutely love to read a post from you about hustle culture!! I have no doubt it would be amazing!! Love you too, my friend! 🙂
I didn’t even realize you are from Ohio till now. I am also from Ohio (Warren, OH area.)
I tried writing a newsletter several times a week, and then I hit a major depression spell and haven’t picked it back up yet. But I plan to start small this time around. But I do feel it’s important!
Oh, that’s so neat! I didn’t realize you were either! You’re up north from me, I’m about an hour and a half south of Columbus in Pike county.
That is completely understandable, friend. I think starting small is great and then you can always write more often if you’d like, but no pressure at all if not. You have to take care of yourself, that is the most important thing! <3
