It’s time for my Friday favorites, friends! It’s hard to believe we are so close to Thanksgiving and Black Friday! Are you excited about the holidays coming up?
I’m starting to feel the holiday cheer now, and it could be that I’ve had a million Starbucks holiday beverages since they came out this Fall! 🙂
This week sort of kicked my booty! I haven’t been feeling well at all towards the end of this week, but hoping to get better really soon and enjoy the weekend.
1. My Favorite Thing I Read this Week
This blog post was easily my favorite thing that I read this week. Do you know how sometimes blog posts can just energize you and make you want to implement something new right away? This is one of those posts!
How To Get More Done With Time Blocking by She Dreams All Day is an amazing, step-by-step introduction to time blocking. This method is supposed to help you become far more productive than juggling a million tasks all at once, and I’m so ready to try it!
2. Caramel Brulee Latte
Speaking of all the holiday drinks I’ve been getting from Starbucks, I found something that trumps the white chocolate mocha: the caramel brulee latte! It is so good, friends. Have you tried it?
3. Pinterest Descriptions
While it isn’t my favorite thing that I realized I didn’t have my photos optimized properly for Pinterest (in regards to the descriptions), it IS one of my favorites that I learned how to fix it! It’s still a work in progress, but I’m thankful for awesome bloggers who posted how to code your Pinterest descriptions so that they’ll pick up those descriptions when someone pins from my site.
4. Christmas Movies
While I’m usually that person who waits for anything-Christmas until after Thanksgiving, I finally gave in this week and watched Home Alone. I always find it so funny! I’m trying to hold back on watching more Christmas movies, but it’s getting more and more difficult.
5. Disney+
Okay, how many of you have signed up for Disney+? I am in love with the streaming service! So many of my favorite shows and movies as I was growing up. Plus, so many new ones to love, as well. The Mandalorian is awesome, for any of the Star Wars fans!

I feel in love with this Fighting Self Critical Thoughts worksheet from Colourful Hope yesterday! Each of us face negative thoughts each day, and it’s up to us to fend those off and replace them with positive ones. I think this worksheet will be super helpful with that, as well as it’s very pretty!
I’ve shared Sarah’s Instagram, The Backwards Life, before on my Friday Favorites, and it’s for good reason! She is beyond amazing, so inspirational and I love her daily Insta-stories! You will not be sorry for following her!
I love reading Taralynn’s blog posts and I thought that you would enjoy this post on her trip to Hawaii! Full of colorful pictures, and great content!
That wraps up my Friday favorites, friends. I hope that you have a wonderful rest of your day, and an even better weekend! 🙂

I have been obsessed with Disney+, it is pretty much all I have watched this week! Pinterest descriptions are not my fave either, but they help so much!

I’m with you, friend!! It’s definitely a blast from the past with so much of their content. 🙂 I totally agree with you! It’s a constant learning experience for me, but I’m determined to continually get better with it.
Home Alone is my favorite Christmas movie and every year I need to watch it. It is tradition.

Love that tradition!! 🙂
That book sounds really interesting. I like the concept. That latte sounds delicious too. I keep thinking I should branch out at Starbucks, but then I order my hazelnut cappuccino again.
I fell in love with the concept. It’s really awesome! I can relate, friend, on the coffee note! I am a white chocolate mocha girl usually. I switch to the toasted white chocolate mocha for the holidays, but have really pushed it to try some new things.
I can’t wait to watch Disney+! I haven’t found time yet, but I am hoping tonight we can watch one of the movies on there for our family movie night 🙂
Hope that you have a wonderful weekend! 🙂
I hope you were able to watch it, Mica! I’m sure you’ll find lots of great movies! 🙂 I hope you have had a great weekend!!

Thanks for stopping by, Melody! 🙂 I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving!
I have been wondering how to better optimize my Pinterest photos! I have to look into this. Thanks so much for sharing! And I am all geared up for some Hallmark Christmas movies this weekend at my sister’s house! Wishing you a very happy Thanksgiving!

It was just a little bit of coding, but super easy, Shelbee! I just added (data-pin-description=”insert what you want your Pinterest description to be here”) into my image tag located in my blog posts, without the parentheses. I hope you had a wonderful Thanksgiving with your family! Mine went very well and have been enjoying this weekend. 🙂
This miscellaneous list of yours is very recognizable! Optimizing your photo’s for Pinterest is something I’ve learned to do too recently, sometimes I still forget it though.
I’m currently nibbling on some dark chocolate with caramel bites so I deffo get the craving for the Caramel Brulee Latte!
And I will probably watch Home Alone for the 30th time next week but it remains funny! Wishing you happy holidays Ashley!

I’m with you, friend! One day I’m sure it’ll come second nature, but for now, it’s hard to remember to optimize every photo. Those chocolate caramel bites sound amazing!! I love watching Home Alone, I’ve seen it a couple of times already this season, haha. Have a Merry Christmas, Layla!! 🙂
