Have you been eying the EC LifePlanner? Then this post is for you! I’m sharing with you my in-depth Erin Condren LifePlanner 2020 planner review!
I want to give a huge shout out to my good friend, Amy Kent from The Kent Krew, who added this LifePlanner review to one of her posts! Please go check out her post on The Best Planners for Busy Women – you will love it!
I’m so excited to share this post with you today. I’ve wanted an Erin Condren LifePlanner for the last few years now, but never took the plunge. Part of it was the price, and the other part was just venturing into something new. I’ve been a fan of Bloom Daily Planners for years and had a hard time making the switch this year.
I was able to get a great deal on Black Friday on this LifePlanner. Erin Condren was running a 30% off sale, plus I saved $10 being a first time customer! You can get the same $10 discount for being a first time customer too, when you visit the website via my affiliate link. 🙂
So I scored this beautiful planner for $38.50 plus shipping + tax.
My goal with this post is to share with you all of the gorgeous features of this 2020 planner, so you can see for yourself if it’s something you would be interested in having. It was so helpful to read over other bloggers’ reviews of Erin Condren planners over the years, and how they use them.
There was an overwhelming amount of happy owners of the LifePlanner.
I haven’t written in it yet, though I’m excited to start! I wanted to share it with you just as it came out of the box, so I won’t have any comments on how I use it just yet. I’ll be giving you updates throughout the year of my planner. I’ll be sure to include any pros or cons I come up with over that period of time.
Erin Condren Watercolor Splash LifePlanner
(January 2020 – Dec 2020)
First off, I was literally waiting at my door for my mail carrier to deliver this planner. I was super excited to receive it, as well as it took so long to get it shipped via FedEx (they are not my favorite carrier!). It comes in a blue, decorative box and your planner is nestled in this gorgeous kaleidoscope box, underneath pretty green tissue paper.
Unboxing The Erin Condren LifePlanner
Kaleidoscope is the theme for the 2019-2020 Erin Condren LifePlanner. You will see it throughout the planner, minus the cover, since I chose a different option. It is so bright and colorful! For more on the kaleidoscope theme, check out this quick video from Erin herself, talking about how she came up with the idea!
There are so many beautiful covers for the Erin Condren LifePlanner. It was very difficult to choose, but I ended up with the Watercolor Splash design and it is even more gorgeous in person!
More on the customization options later in the post!
I chose the silver coils for this LifePlanner. You can choose black, gold or rose gold if you prefer one of those. The cover is laminated and is beautiful! I chose to have my name placed on the front cover, however, you can opt to write your favorite quote (up to 15 characters per line, total of two lines optional) or leave it blank.
Inside The Erin Condren LifePlanner
When you open the Erin Condren LifePlanner, you’ll see the other side of your laminated front cover is a little notepad that you can use with wet erase markers. On the right side, there’s this soft sheet of transparent paper leading into your LifePlanner introduction page.
Next, there is this beautiful kaleidoscope design surrounding these inspiring quotes.
A monthly overview of the latter half of 2019 and all of 2020, continuing with the beautiful kaleidoscope theme.
This is one of my favorite sections and I can’t wait to start filling it out. With the new year, comes new opportunities and adventures. I love that the Erin Condren LifePlanner captures that in this section.
As you open each month, you’ll have a page for notes on the left and a quote page on the right. A neat little fact is that each month has a designated color. You’ll see that color on the tab for that month, on the top of this page for notes, and on the following pages.
This is the horizontal layout. I’ve always used a horizontal layout on my previous planners and it really works for me. You can choose from vertical and hourly, as well.
You can see that it begins with a green color at the end of December, and then bleeds into the blue color for January.
Sections After Monthly Layouts
There is a section for notes directly after the December layout.
Two bullet journal pages.
An inspiration board on the left side of the page, and a page on the right for your contacts.
Now begins one of my favorite sections: the stickers!
I took a closer photo of these stickers for you, since it blended in a little in the last photo. I’m excited to use these for certain events, so I can color code them.
At the end, you’ll find another fantastic pocket that has a calendar in it! More on that below. There is also a laminated note page at the end, just like the one at the very beginning, that you can use the wet erase markers with.

All The Goodies!
Along with the Erin Condren LifePlanner, you get the Perpetual Calendar as well as some other goodies. I received a “Welcome” pack of goodies too, for my first order.
Perpetual Calendar
You get this perpetual calendar with your Erin Condren LifePlanner. It seems to be a handy little book to jot down any notes, contacts, and keep track of important dates.
I have also found on Pinterest that a lot of people use this calendar as a habit tracker, which I think would be great!
This is a soft-bound, thin planner.
Just like in the LifePlanner, each month has its corresponding color.
Contacts page and passwords.
A list of holidays for the year.
Pack of Goodies
All of these amazing little gems came with my LifePlanner.
Welcome Packet
I received this welcome packet full of goodies since this was my first order with Erin Condren. I love all of them!

Happy new year!
Oh wow, I love Erin Condren! I love their neutral design, and really wanted an hourly one for the new year. I recently fell in love with Passion Planner as well though, so I’m thinking of ordering a PP to try out in 2020, to see what I like most!
Happy New Year, Sharon! I hope it’s treating you well so far. 🙂 I totally understand the dilemma. There are so many wonderful planners out there! I hope whichever one you choose for 2020, that you love it and it helps make your year better!
What a beautiful post for a beautiful planner! Loved seeing inside this!
Thank you SO much, Amy! 🙂
Oh wow! This planner is super beautiful! Mine is also very nice but less expensive and more normal.

Aww, it’s never too late to start using one throughout the year! 😉 Sometimes, it’s all about finding the right one for you.
Wow, it’s perfect! It’s a pity I already have mine. I use two different planners: one for the office and another one for the blog and my personal life, and now another one for the wedding!
Aww, thank you! 🙂 Wow, you’ve got a lot to keep track of, friend!! Which planners do you use?
Looks like a cute planner! Thank you for sharing your thoughts and all the details.

Thanks, Nina! 🙂 I really love it!
I always get my EC planner on Black Friday and have fun picking out the design. I really like the horizontal layout too! The one thing I always forget to use are the stickers! I need to use those more this year! Thanks for sharing your review!
Jill – Doused in Pink
Yay!! 🙂 That’s totally understandable. I forgot to add stickers too, but luckily I had some leftover from last year from Bloom Daily Planners.
Such a beautiful and useful planner. Ive been looking at some of her inserts that go into a folder too!
Thank you so much, Leanne! I bet those would be great!! 🙂
I love Erin Condren planners. I wish I would have chosen an Erin Condren planner for this year. Instead I chose the Happy Life Planner. Still good but nothing compares to Erin Condren.
I hope you’ll love your Happy Life Planner!! I’ve heard great things about those. 🙂 I can definitely see that it will be hard to use anything else besides EC from now on.
These are super adorable! Love the colors.

You are more than welcome!! 🙂 Thank you so much for stopping by and checking it out, I truly appreciate it!
I have wanted to try one of the Erin Condren Planners for the longest time! They look like they’re amazing for helping to keep you organised. The only thing putting me off is the customs fees when ordering from the US, but one day I’ll finally bite the bullet and order one xx
GemmaEtc.com
They truly are! I’m so happy I bought mine and can definitely see myself buying more in the future. I can totally understand where you’re coming from. While I don’t have the customs fees to pay, it was still as a steep price for the planner in general, which is why it took me so long to try it out. I hope that you’ll love it if you try it at some point! 🙂
