It’s the first Friday in February!
I had hoped to get this post out on Wednesday, but the week went a little sideways! At least we get to hang out together just before the weekend gets started! I feel like last month flew by. I got a ton of work done here on the blog, so I hope to very much continue that this month. It’s on my 2023 goals list!
One of the new things I want to start sharing monthly is my dashboard page from my Erin Condren LifePlanner! I really enjoy planning and it really helps keep me sane, even though I may still panic a little here and there, haha.
So I thought it would be fun to do a collective post on what my plans for February are and we can take on this new month together!
February EC Dashboard
I had fun putting this together! I even filmed it for a reel and hope to get that out to you soon. I’ll be honest, I am not a natural with video stuff! I got this little clip-on tripod which is fantastic and easy to use (thanks to ashleymarie_plans!), but I’ve been struggling with this grainy issue, like video noise. I wanted to scream several times this week while doing research and trying programs, and nothing working. Ugh.
But I’m going to try InShot over the weekend, maybe even later on today when I get back from lunch with my FIL (you’ll see this post later in the day though!). Ashley also recommended that app. I think I’ve determined lighting is the issue for my grainy problem, and I’m sure it’s just going to take some trial and error. I really want to share some short planning videos over on my YouTube channel once I get this silly thing figured out!
Emails Coming Bi-Monthly
For those of you who have been with me for a while, you know my email struggles! I have no idea why I’ve been so inconsistent with them. But my word for this year is consistent, so I really want to make sure I keep these up when I start them! I have received so much positive feedback from just getting out emails when new blog posts are uploaded, so I appreciate that so much! I have those pretty well down to a template, so they are quick and easy to put together and send out.
My goal is to put together a plan for bi-monthly emails by springtime! I’m going to be swirling around some ideas for titles and templates for those emails. I’d love to hear what you’d like to see me include in those emails! Or even what you like in general from some of your favorite bloggers’ emails you receive already.
Valentine’s Day Fun
It’s hard to believe we are so close to Valentine’s Day! In case you missed it, you can see my Amazon Favorites for Valentine’s Day. I want to get out at least two more posts, one with more gift ideas and another with some fun dessert ideas, think roundup post of some of my favorites I’ve seen on Pinterest! I also have an idea for a yummy chocolate marshmallow treat that would be fun for the holiday!
Decluttering Galore
I am overdue for a few decluttering projects! For February, I am going to make it a priority to start working through each of our closets this month. I have an overflow of stuff into my office. While I can’t see it while I’m sitting here typing this post to you, it is most certainly behind me, haha!
I think once I can get the closets decluttered and organized, I can move some of the items into those closets. So, I won’t exactly be clearing out the closets completely, but it will still be more helpful, haha! They’re just our only source of storage space until we get some more shelving up in our garage, so I need to make good use of them.
That’s all I have for this post, friends! Thanks for spending some time with me here and checking out my plans for February. 🙂
I’d love to hear what you think of this post, as well as if you have any fun plans for the weekend!

Yes ma’am! I’m going to try to stay on top of things. You are so right, and your emails are always beautiful and so helpful!
Sounds like my type of plans! Yes to the EC planner and to decluttering! Two of my faves.
So happy you love these two things, too! Have a fantastic day, Kristina, and thanks so much for stopping by! 🙂
Love this idea of sharing your monthly goals from you planner. Such a great way to stay consistent and accountable! InShot is a great app for reels. So easy to use. Just try to get as much natural light in front of the camera when you take the videos. Good luck my friend!

Aww, thanks so much Kathrine! I think it’s going to be super helpful for me, and hopefully enjoyable for you and others who visit the blog. 🙂 Thank you tons! I am definitely going to make it a priority to work on getting the lighting right, and checking out the InShot app. I’m so happy you like it for reels and it’s easy to use!
Your planner looks great and I like your goals for the month ahead! I really hope that you are able to achieve everything you have set out to do 🙂
I struggle to get good lighting for my videos also, it can take a while to get set up and get some quiet time and sometimes the light has moved around and I need to locate to another window, haha!
Thanks so much, Mica! 🙂 I truly appreciate it, and I’m going to do my very best!
Haha, I can definitely understand that! I have one place that I’d like to keep filming at for at least my planner videos, but yes, the light moves and I think I’m going to have to be a little more flexible in finding the right place at the right time, haha.
I have some lights I use when I take photos and videos that I set up on each side of the space and it helps a lot. That way I don’t need to worry about trying to shoot by a window, etc. Ohh, InShot is an app I really like! I have only used it for reels, tho. I really need to clean out under our bathroom sinks too!! I love your EC Dashboard page!! I need to pin that, because it would be fun to do something similar in my planner each month.

That’s really good! I may need to go that route if I can’t quite find a good lighting spot or if it gets too tricky with timing for that lighting. I didn’t know you used InShot! I tried it out a couple of days ago and I think it’s going to be pretty easy to learn so far. Thanks so much!! I am enjoying my Feb layout so far, and it’s helping to keep me on track. 🙂
I am trying to declutter too!!

I will be looking forward to that dessert post! Sounds so good already! It looks like you have organized everything so well. I hope you are able to get it all done!
Aww, thanks so much Laura! I’m excited to get it out a little later this week. 🙂 I truly appreciate it, I’m working away at my list!
You have great plans for February. Consistency is so important, I’ve been struggling with it also. Happy Monday! xx

Thanks so much, Nina! You are so right, I’m trying hard to work at it each day and sending you all the good vibes friend! Happy Tuesday!
I’m trying to grow my email list too. It’s so important! Just signed up for yours! I use Inshot to edit my videos and think it’s a great app! Can’t wait to see your Valentine’s Day dessert ideas!

Aww, thank you SO much Jill! I will go sign up for yours too, I’m surprised I wasn’t already! Oh, that’s great to hear about InShot and thank you tons – you’ll be seeing that post super soon this week!
This is such great advice. I love this post and find it helpful for myself. https://www.bauchlefashion.com/2023/02/our-fresh-take-on-boucle-parisian.html
Thanks so much, Heather! 🙂 So happy you loved it!
Sounds like some solid goals for February. The fact that you’re trying to do videos is awesome. I have DABBLED a little into that world, but I haven’t gotten over my tech issues and camera shyness to want to become consistent there yet.
I have been sending out emails for the first time this year. I must say, I do love it. I have a resource that may help you out. I love having that personal connection with my readership! I do hope to continue to make even stronger bonds with my readers.
Organizing a home makes you feel so accomplished. My husband literally goes through our entire home every six months and forces us all to make snap (and I mean snap) decisions on what we are going to keep and what we are throwing out/donating. If it takes us longer than 30 seconds to decide we want it, guess what … It’s GONE! If it’s something that we think we can sell, he’ll have us take pictures of the items and post them immediately too. It’s a VERY LONG weekend for our household when he does it, but if I’m honest I do love the fact that he does it. Our home feels fresher, we feel good for the things we donated, and we tend to earn a few bucks from the ordeal too.
Thanks so much, Crystal! I definitely get that. I am not 100% comfortable with video yet, but I have gotten better. Now I just need to figure out the technicalities, haha!
Oh that sounds fantastic, I appreciate that so much! I’m so happy you’re loving your emails and I have no doubt they are fantastic. I’ll sign up soon!
That’s awesome!! I might panic about making such a quick decision though, haha, but honestly if you don’t know right away if you want to keep something or not, it’s probably not that important. I bet it helps get rid of a lot of things you don’t need and then that makes more room for the things you do want/need. 🙂
The EC Dashboard planner looks like such a helpful tool, and I loved seeing your plans for February. Decluttering is on my list too!

Aww, thanks so much Julia! I have a feeling I’m carrying decluttering into March with me, this month is really getting away from me FAST! I love the EC monthly dashboard, you can truly customize it the way that works best for you – which is awesome! 🙂
