Are you excited that it’s finally Spring? I am ecstatic!
There is something so special about the beginning of a new season, and in particular, spring. It’s almost like a rebirth, with the flowers and the trees starting to bloom.
I want to share with you today that you too can start fresh and allow yourself to blossom. Just as you watch the growth of flowers or trees nearby, you can start watching your own personal growth manifest into something beautiful before your very eyes.
Let this blog post serve as an encouragement to step, or spring (festive, huh?), into your purpose today.
Give Yourself Permission to Let Go
When you choose a new destination and you begin a trip, you must first do the obvious: leave where you currently are. You can’t get to Columbus if you are currently sitting in Cleveland, right? You have to leave Cleveland in order to arrive in Columbus.
I used this super simple analogy to show you that you cannot move into a new place without leaving behind your current, or previous, place. It can be easy to find yourself stuck either in the past or if you’re battling with the present. It can be difficult to push past either of those (and especially both!).
If you’re truly ready to welcome your purpose and become the very best version of yourself, then I encourage you to take the time necessary to release the past.
Forgive yourself for anything prior to this very day. I know this is not something that happens overnight, but choose to give yourself grace each day. Don’t allow negative thoughts or reminders of the past to hold you back. Choose to invest your magical energy into propelling forward!
Rise Above Toxic Relationships
There are often people in our lives that do not necessarily have our best interest at heart. Some likely mean well, however, can have a very negative impact on your health.
In order to wholeheartedly welcome your purpose, it is time to rise above any form of toxicity.
Whether you’ve found yourself playing a part in being negative or gossiping at times, or are surrounding yourself by those who commonly do – allow yourself to move on from the relationships that are not serving you well.
Create Fresh Habits That Align With Your Purpose
There are often a list of things that we would like to do in our minds, or even just one big thing. We dream about it, think of how nice it would be or how it would feel even, but we often never move past that phase.
The next phase involves action-packed mini goals that will help you reach your overall goal(s). With that being said, you will also start to build new habits that align with your purpose.
Welcome these new habits with open arms!
I realize that anything new is a change, so it may take some time getting used to. I want to encourage you to trust the process and keep going, even when it feels like nothing is going to come together. That’s usually when everything falls into place! 🙂
I truly hope that this post has encouraged you to dig deep to find your purpose, embrace it and wholeheartedly step into it. I believe in you and absolutely know that you can make it happen.
Make Life Marvelous: Branding Refresh & Email List Restart
On a similar side note, I wanted to let you know that you will likely be seeing a spring refresh here at Make Life Marvelous! I am keeping my blog theme, but you will start to see photos being updated and the way my designs look will be a little different going forward.
It takes a village to do the branding overhaul I’m working on, but since I am the village, you will probably see it happen in bits and pieces, haha. I’m really trying to step into my purpose and make my blog and social media design reflect the beautiful community that we have here.
I will also be starting up my email list again! This has been a long work-in-progress. With the help of my dear friend Autumn, my emails now have a brand new look. I am really putting all of my creative energy into making each email provide you with as much value as possible. I loved the way it looked so much that it made me want to update my imagery on the blog and IG as well.
So if you haven’t already signed up for my email list, please sign up now! My first weekly email will hit your inbox on April 2nd. You’ll also receive a welcome email if you’re just now signing up.
I want to wish all of your marvelous humans a fantastic remainder of your week!

It sure is, Allie! Sometimes I think we start with a small vision and it sort of evolves, almost on its own, into what our own beautiful purpose is. Thank you so much for your kind words and wishing you the brightest day, friend!
Sometimes we should let it go.. good tips ❤
Absolutely, Kinga! Hope you’re having a wonderful week so far! 🙂
This post is something what I need to read in this moment. These days when lockdown is still in my country I ask myself what is my purpose and what I doing whit my life. Thank you for sharing these tips.

Aww, I’m so happy it came at a good time for you! I can imagine the extended lockdown is just horrific, my friend. I do hope that it is lifted safely soon and things can return to normality.
I had this h.s. friend that would just randomly leave negative comments on my posts every few months, to the point where I felt I had to defend myself in a comment. The weird thing is I haven’t seen her since h.s., but not only does she follow me on FB, but she read my blog (I could see it in Bloglovin’) and she followed all my IG Stories. I finally just blocked her after she left one really snotty comment, where everyone else was liking my post and saying congrats. I do feel a little bad about it, but I found myself feeling bad for hours or even days after her comments and I decided I was just done with it. Hopefully I won’t bump into her at a reunion sometime. Ha, ha!

Oh my goodness, haha! Even if you do bump into her at the reunion, you can just thank her for comments and go on to speak with someone nicer! 🙂 I can’t believe that some people choose to follow others on social media with only the intention of hurting their feelings. I think it’s even worse when you actually know this person from high school. How ridiculous. Good for you for blocking her! You don’t need that sort of negativity in your life, and those who are support you and love your blog (like me!) will always have your back.
Creating healthy habits is so so important! It’s something I’m working on all the time and it definitely takes practice and dedication but pays off tons!
